The core of the house is a flat-roofed villa, built in the Bauhaus style typical of the 1930s. Another floor with a pitched roof was added later. In spring 2005, the old building was completely renovated according to principles of green building and inaugurated with an extended annex to the building. The slope towards the lake is a small forest, densely overgrown with palm trees and other subtropical plants.
