The House Courier “Corriere della Casa” in its new look and format, was established in 2016. The idea, which we still uphold today, is to be a medium of information about the life and initiatives of the only Anthroposophical therapeutic center in Switzerland, Casa Andrea Cristoforo. It was founded by Ita Wegman almost 90 years ago in Ascona, Switzerland.
Its purpose is not only to inform but also to share thoughts, feelings, and actions that take place at Casa Andrea Cristoforo, which are part of the impulse for human and social health in all its complexity, as envisioned by Ita Wegman.
Typically, you will find stories about the Casa, a letter from the Director, content curated by the medical team of the house, and information about the rich spiritual and cultural life that unfolds throughout the year. There is great interest in these events, conferences and concerts, both from those who have been coming for decades and from people who have only known us for a short time. For us, cultural life is a fundamental part of care and has existed since the inception of the foundation of this Anthroposophical Clinic.
As of issue 12 (December 2023), “Corriere della Casa” is bilingual (Italian and German). The cosmopolitan spirit of Ita Wegman lives within us and is also reflected in this “Corriere della Casa”.
